AdeptiCon 2026 to host significant Warhammer announcements and community hype

As anticipation and expectation of a big announcement by the Warhammer Community build up, the Global Warhammer tabletop gaming community is looking forward to AdeptiCon 2036, one of the largest events in the Warhammer calendar. The convention, scheduled to be held late in March, is likely to be the largest ever and thousands of fans are expected to come together to enjoy miniature wargaming, hobby culture, and competitive play. 

AdeptiCon is a flagship event that has been held annually in Milwaukee since it expanded to become a hallmark event among the Warhammer fan base. The 2026 version is expected to outdo the attendance of earlier years, and as regular critics indicated, the event has been gradually increasing in attendance since it attracted more than 10000 visitors in recent years. The convention also has a large range of events such as tournaments, hobby seminars, exhibitions and social events, making it a key venue both among casual gamers and competitive veterans.

One of the most notable events this year is the long-awaited Warhammer Preview Show, which will be held together with Games Workshop. The preview show, which will be broadcast worldwide, will feature earth-shattering reveals in several of the biggest franchises, including Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar and The Horus Heresy. These releases have historically been springboards to new editions, mini collections and story extensions.

There is a lot of speculation in Warhammer 40,000 specially. Watches and fans in the industry are of the opinion that AdeptiCon 2026 may be the initial official hint of the 11th edition of the game. Although this is not confirmed, the release date fits with the pattern that Games Workshop releases important news around one year, and recent teasers have indicated some big news. This has led to extended debate on the Warhammer Community, with a great number of people expecting trailers, model releases or modifications of the rules. 

Besides the possible updates of the edition, there will also be exclusive miniatures related to the event introduced by AdeptiCon. These limited-run models stand to appear initially at the convention and only afterwards at other World Warhammer events and can be in great demand by collectors. 

The event is also finding support in the local organising and businesses in Milwaukee, who see the event as a chance to restore the city as a big tabletop gaming location. AdeptiCon 2026 promises to be a year due to increased space in its venue, availability of more exhibitors and more events. 

With the expectation running so high, one would now turn to the Warhammer Preview Show. Regardless of whether it presents a new edition or a line of new content, AdeptiCon 2026 will establish itself as a signature occasion of the Warhammer Community of the international scene.
