One of the Traitors has been theatrically kicked out of the BBC castle only days before the finale next Friday (January 23).
In the penny-paper on Wednesday, January 14, Faithfuls Harriet and Matthew had the opportunity of questioning The Traitors, who were hiding behind a confessional-type wall.
Harriet, the former barrister, 53, took this opportunity to express her correct suspicion that Rachel is one of the villainous figures behind the mask.
She talked in their presence, saying: “If my voice is asking, it is not through nerves, it is through anger that you have taken me for a fool.”
She went on: “I am as certain as I can possibly be that Rachel is in that confessional. I think tomorrow it will be exciting to see who acts in Rachel’s defence.”
The author of the crime was also bold enough to confront them because no murder had taken place that evening. “There is nothing that you can do to stop me, she warned, reports Wales Online.
The Traitors did not, however, require to kill Harriet, who had been sent out by her fellow Faithfuls at the round table. Harriet left behind her, following a dramatic revelation at breakfast.
The novelist eventually revealed her true identity to the group, saying, “I have been acting, as it were, undercover for the past couple of weeks,” she revealed. “I’m actually a published author of several psychological thrillers.
“And I was, in a former life, a criminal barrister. Let’s be clear, I kept it quiet from the very start because as soon as I was chosen as a Faithful, I would have been walking around with a great fat target on my back.”
Then Harriet turned her eyes on Traitor Rachel, and declared to the whole cast: “Rachel, my intention tonight at the roundtable is to lay out my evidence for why I think that you are a Traitor.”
As this shook Rachel and Stephen, the other contestants became suspicious of the behaviour of Harriet, and they ended up voting against her.
Harriet made an incredible twist of events when she encouraged the other players to get rid of her so that they were convinced that she was Faithful. The contestants complied with her request and entered Harriet’s name in writing, and she ended up leaving the game.
The recently killed player was massively popular among the audience, who rushed to social media to express their amazement over her outrageous strategic move.
The Traitors will be repeated on BBC One and iPlayer tomorrow at 8pm
