This afternoon, February 25, the emergency services were called to a Ladbrokes incident in the Bolton town centre. At around 1:00 p.m., 3 ambulances and 2 police cars were called to Deansgate, next to the corner of Waterstones.
A bus was unable to pass through because one ambulance partially blocked the road.
Passengers were observed walking off the road with the emergency crews having a go at the situation.
Greater Manchester Police said that they were called at 1:15 pm to what seems to be a medical episode, and a man aged in his 60s was hospitalised.
Customers were flocking around, and the paramedics and the police were observed in the Ladbroke compound.
At the scene, one passer-by told The Bolton News: “People are complaining about the bus not being able to get through, but it has to be done in an emergency.
“It looks serious “.
North West Ambulance Service has been approached to make comments on this incident.
