Fackham Hall has received a release date yet the UK fans will not be pleased. The trailer of Fackham Hall is a loud one that has been published by the film company Bleecker street, leaving quite a noise on the side of the viewers. It is a star-studded film with Jimmy Carr screenwriter debut along with Patrick Carr and The Dawson Brothers.
The story revolves around pick-pocket Eric Noone and as he settles in the eponymous manor house where he is wrongly charged with murder.
British high profile actor Ben Radcliffe stars as Eric and Thomasin McKenzie who featured in the movie Leave No Trace assumes the role of Rose Davenport with whom Eric has a forbidden love affair.
Tom Felton who plays Archibald in Harry Potter and Jimmy Carr also go in front of the camera to play a vicar. Fackham Hall is a parody of some of the most popular period films like Downton Abbey and Gosford Park and was shot in the picturesque County of Yorkshire.
Nevertheless, the UK fans might feel discouraged to know that no official UK release date is present.
The film has so far been allocated an US release date and will release to American theatres on December 5. The trailer with the two celebrated actresses Anna Maxwell Martin is funny and it opens with the Davenports playing a shooting game. Damian Lewis as Lord Davenport is observed shooting down a fox and a deer in the air.
After this murder, Tom Goodman-Hill enters playing the awkward Inspector Watt. The unfortunate timing of Carr in his character has brought audiences to their knees.
Fackham Hall’s Trailer Unveils A Humorous Upstairs -Downstairs Mystery
Fackham Hall has the tagline: Born to aristocracy. Bred to be dumb,” and the trailer to the film pretty much lives up to that. It is a story about a lovable pick-pocket, Eric Noone (Ben Radcliffe), who gets a job at an English manor house known as Fackham Hall. He makes it to the top fast and a secret affair with lady-of-the-house Rose Davenport (Thomasin McKenzie) ripen.
However, when there is an instance of an unexpected murder, Eric is the one who is framed up and this presents Rose and her family with an uncertain future. That is when it is an upstairs -downstairs comedy that turns into a whodunit.
The film directed by Jim O’Hanlon and written by Jimmy Carr, Patrick Carr and the Dawson Brothers features Katherine Waterston, Emma Laird, Tomay Felton and Damian Lewis.
Legion M, an entertainment company owned by its fans, has concluded an agreement with Bleecker Street on the financing and distribution of Fackham Hall, an upcoming spoof comedy, which will be released in theaters in the US cinemas on Dec 5.
