There is a huge movement of American military planes in the British RAF bases to suggesting that President Donald Trump is mounting more military actions following the spectacular takeover of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. Since Saturday, at least 14 C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft and two heavily armed AC-130J Ghostrider gunships have landed at three bases of the RAF in Suffolk and Gloucestershire.
The Globemasters are also said to have been transporting at least five MH-47G Chinook H2 that can be utilised in special forces missions.
According to unconfirmed information, the helicopters have been spotted in British hangars, and this will cast doubts on the reason behind this extensive American military presence on British soil.
The plane landed on the bases shared by the Royal Air Force as well as the US Air Force shortly after American special forces seized President Maduro of Venezuela during a weekend raid. Although the American presence in the UK has been seen as a buildup to additional operations, no information has been given by the official sources.
The majority of the Globemasters landed in RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire, although a few landed at RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath in Suffolk. The primary air bridge in the US to Europe is thought to be Fairford, and the flight data has indicated a number of the Globemasters passing on to Ramstein in Germany. A military serial refuelling aeroplane, an American KC-135R Stratotanker, also landed in Mildenhall on Tuesday after flying in the US.
The situation has been on the edge in the Middle East with the Iranian regime brutally crushing demonstrations in the nation. On the one hand, Trump threatened to strike a real blow on Iran three days ago, in case the demonstrators were killed by the forces of the leader. “America will come to their rescue…We are locked and loaded and ready to go”, he wrote on social media, and American and Israeli attacks have become more probable. According to Iranian activists, the number of protestors who have died has since reached 35.
Since the attack in Venezuela, Trump has issued additional threats of annexing Greenland, which he has always believed should be a part of America, to secure the security of the western hemisphere. He has not dismissed the possibility of using military force to occupy the island, causing the leaders of Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and Denmark to issue a joint statement on Tuesday urging his administration to cease with threats.
