Couch is one of my favourite cocktail destinations in Birmingham, so I think they know me well. Don’t worry, they also know you, too, because they have something for everyone. At the moment, the menu is made up of an extensive cocktail menu and house specials.
One thing worth mentioning is that they don’t serve any food; instead, they focus solely on drinks. You can expect fantastic handcrafted cocktails inspired by films, and there is also a curated wine list and a rotating special cocktail on draught.
I prefer their Vodka Martini, Old Fashioned, and Margarita. Some other notable highlights include Mai Tai, Pornstar Martini, Whiskey Sour, Blood orange, and more.
While visiting the spot, don’t forget to try My Jamaican Guy, which is made using Hibiscus Verdan Rum, vermouth blend, and Grapefruit.
Couch’s interior is clean and spacious; you can grab the bistro tables dotted around the main bar area. The team is professionally trained and coached, making them the winner of Bar Team of the Year, 2024.
