If you are looking for fresh and beautifully presented sushi dishes, Ichi Sushi is your place. This London sushi venue offers a delightful dining experience to its visitors.

Ichi Sushi stands out from the competition due to its authentic flavors and intimate atmosphere. It specialises in Japanese sushi and sashimi; I can describe its menu only with three words: fresh, simple, and delicious.

Only by using fresh and authentic ingredients can they make their sushi and sashimi dishes more enjoyable. The menu includes Nigiri, which is a type a sushi with a small ball of vinegared rice and topped with a raw fish; Sushi Rolls; and I love the California Rolls.

Spicy tuna, salmon, and avocado are used to prepare the California Rolls. If you’re fond of grilled sushi or rolls, have a taste of Aburi.

Some vegetarian dishes include Cucumber Maki, Avocado & Cucumber Rolls, and more. Platter’s menu includes Sashimi 8 pieces, Nigiri 6 pieces, sushi rolls 18 pieces, and more.

Many visitors praise the servers’ attentiveness and great cooperation. If you feel any doubt about ordering the right dishes for you, you can get full assistance from the team.

So, have an enjoyable dining experience with your loved one in a Japan-inspired atmosphere.

Are you looking for the best sushi in London Soho? Dozo Soho can be the best suited for you in this list. Dozo is a beacon of contemporary Japanese cuisine, offering a luxurious dining experience in an upper-middle-class London neighbourhood.

At Dozo, you can find a fantastic fusion of tradition and innovation. The team focuses on bringing the authentic charm of Japan to the heart of London by blending authentic ingredients with a modern yet stylish twist.

When talking about its exclusive menu, I can start with its delicious sushi and sashimi set. It includes Dozo Omakase Sashimi, Itacho Omakase, Sashimi Mori Kyu, Sashimi Mori Juu-hachi, Sushi Mori Roku, Sushi Mori Kyu, and Dozo Sushi Moriawase.

I recommend trying the Dozo Sushi Moriawase and Dozo Omakase sashimi as they are both the chef’s selection. Dozo sashimi Mori Kyu is an authentic Japanese dish, made from thinly sliced raw fish, and served as an appetizer.

Whenever I have visited this venue, almost three times, I found all the ingredients were fresh, offering a full and satisfying dining experience.

The place offers a relaxing and inviting ambiance that blends the lively energy of Soho. You will be amazed at its subtle Japanese interior design touches with Japanese-style tables, a tatami mat platform, and more. You can definitely find some Japanese people in addition to tourists.

A post shared by Umu Mayfair (@umurestaurant)

Address: 14-16 Bruton PI, London W1J 6LX, UK

Umu has been one of the best sushi London Michelin restaurants since almost its opening in 2004. Nestled in the heart of London, it makes it more accessible to almost everyone.

Within just five months of its inauguration, the restaurant achieved a Michelin star and still maintains its great reputation.

The name, “Umu”, refers to ‘born of nature’, displaying the restaurant’s dedication to offering timeless Japanese dishes that honor the natural world.

The restaurant focuses on using only high-quality ingredients and executing the traditional Japanese cooking methods when handling the catch.

Its sushi menu includes bento boxes, udon, soba, and delicate sashimi, expertly grilled fish, and exquisite wagyu beef.

The chef takes a deep thinking to pair every dish with contemporary flavours, allowing visitors to fully appreciate the authenticity of each ingredient.

The venue is not all about the food; it’s also about the environment. Umu offers an intimate and refined space where you can completely immerse yourself in the artistry of your dining.

Address: 20 Berkeley St, London W1J 8EE, UK

This authentic Japanese restaurant aims to bring sushi lovers together to make lasting memories. From their classic selection of sashimi, sushi, and nigiri to the best curated selection of wagyu, all their dishes are prepared to be shared at a table.

The menu is a series of delicacies, and you can taste different types of dishes as you go along. What makes a part Niju from the competition is that you are not alone at the venue.

Staff will be there to recommend and advise on a combination of dishes. Isn’t it amazing? The proper guidance can elevate the meal from transactional to memorable.

Chef Endo Kazutoshi, a third-generation sushi master, has designed an incredible sushi menu. The menu includes Masu, hamachi, madai, Tai, Hirame, Otoro, and more.

I just love its Masu, featuring salted and seasoned trout over vinegar rice, offering a complex and delicate taste.

Every great dining deserves the perfect complement, and Niju is the perfect place for you in every way. Whether you are looking for a place to celebrate special occasions at a sushi place in London, or simply need a catch-up with friends, Niju invites you.

Do you know that the Fugi Grill has introduced Tapasu? It is a modern and refreshing dining concept that blends the artistry of Japanese cuisine with a calming tapas culture.

Taking inspiration from tradition and technique, The Fugi Grill has become one of the world’s best sushi places in London.

The menu features mostly small plates and many larger dishes offered in a family-style. The Fugi Grill takes pride in serving an exclusive range of sushi and sashimi.

The sushi menu includes a variety of rolls, such as the Cherry Blossom Roll, Volcano Roll, Red Dragon Roll, and Washington Roll, among others.

Don’t forget to order its signature sushi dishes, Cherry Blossom, which is a spicy tuna roll topped with tuna. Some other notable sushi dishes include Japanese Yellowtail, Grilled Seabass, Akami, and more.

The sushi omakase menu is available every evening between 6 pm and 9 pm. You will have a culinary sushi journey with flavours that reflect modern Japanese specialities using authentic techniques.

    6. The Sushi Co

Are you looking for the best sushi in London Bridge? Do not look further than The Sushi Co., as it is home to minutes of fresh sushi. They only follow the authentic ways to prepare flavourful and fresh sushi from their live kitchen.

When it comes to selecting the rice for sushi, they never take long; they only use short-grain, premium-quality rice. With 22 live kitchens spreading across London, The Sushi Co. is the real sushi place for you.

The menu features Hosomaki, Uramaki, Nigri, Futomaki, Crunch, Tataki, Kaburi, and Sashimi. The Crunch is my all-time favourite; crisp and well cut. These contemporary rolls are coated with panko tempura flakes and served with unagi sauce.

I love this rich, creamy, and savoury flavor content, perfectly balanced with crispy and crunchy texture. Nigiri, the delicate, hand-formed base of rice, is not rolled but holds a range of toppings. Uramaki are the sushi rolls wrapped in nori seaweed and rolled in a delicate outer coating of sushi rice.

So, whether you are a night worker or want to escape the hectic everyday, pop into their casual dining sitting in high street locations.

Another great news is that The London Bridge sushi place serves up box-fresh, made-to-order sushi. Whenever you visit, this live sushi kitchen guarantees whatever you order will be served fresh and worth waiting for.

Signature Dishes: Nigri, Crunch, and Uramaki
    Ratings: 5 Stars
    Opening Hours:
Sunday to Saturday: 11 am to 11 pm

    7. Eel Sushi

Eel Sushi is another well-deserved name in the best sushi landscape in London. It is the place where the Swiss pine interiors convince you that you are sitting in a ski chalet instead of in the heart of Notting Hill.

I love eating by sitting at the window seats that carry people-watching potential as the outside crowds coordinate and around dinnertime. I have visited twice during the lunch hours; lunchtimes are calm and breezy, and the evenings are more of a scenic energy.

The sushi and sashimi menu includes Akami, Hamachi, Salmon Roe, Japanese Red Snapper, Cornese Horsh Mackerel, and more. The Nigiri varieties include Scallop, Lobster, Otoro, Kama-Toro, and more.

The Scallop Sashimi is sweet and zesty, worth ordering, while Enoki & Shimoji Soup is only the hot thing on the menu. You can find some of the best London Nigiri here- and I have tasted many.

It is completely perfect to go with any of the excellent fish here, including the cuts of tuna, salmon, scallop, and eel.

Signature Dishes: Nigiri, Cornish Squid, and Scallop Sashimi
    Ratings: 4.4 Stars
    Opening Hours:
Sunday to Saturday: 12- 11 pm
